The glass curtain wall: perhaps no building exterior system is more significant to the image of contemporary commercial architecture. But beyond giving the developer their desired aesthetics for the project’s public face, curtain walls must meet often difficult and conflicting goals for daylighting, energy performance, views, cost, and schedule.
How do developer's goals get translated into the architectural design that ultimately gets fabricated and installed on a project? Our panel -- representatives from the developer, the architect, and the curtail wall fabricator -- will recount their experience designing and building the curtain wall for the stunning new Forsyth Pointe, a new office overlooking Shaw Park in Clayton, Missouri. Join us for an insight into the process of curtainwall design and construction.
