Our 2025-2026 Program year wraps up in May. In addition to our regular Second Wednesday of the Month, meetings, we've added three BONUS learning opportunities. Whether. you are a regular attendee or a first timer, you'll probably find something of interest among our upcoming offerings::
- February 11: "Build Better Enclosures: QA/QC Strategies" Joe Dressler describes how better building enclosures can be achieved through a rigorous QA/QC process that allows for targeted improvements at both the design and construction stages. Learn effective QA/QC techniques to create more durable buildings that have a longer lifespan, need fewer repairs or replacements, and operate with lower costs and environmental impacts.
- March 11: "Window and Glass Performance Standards" Efficient and professional glazing system installation is crucial for energy performance, indoor air quality, occupant comfort, and long-term maintenance. The North American Contractor Certification (NACC) assures owners and designers that glass and metal fabrication is installed in a manner that minimizes defects. Find out more in March.
- April 8: "Undocumented: Redefining the Conventions of Contract Documents" Computational design is not just a tool for form generation-it is reshaping how architects and contractors document, coordinate, and deliver complex buildings. Michael Zensen and Andy Van Mater from Cannon Design St. Louis, will examine how unconventional approaches to contract documentation, powered by computational processes, can liberate architecture from traditional constraints while strengthening construction execution.
- April 15 ***BONUS SESSION*** Division 01 - Heart of the Documents If your experience with Division 01 - General Requirements seems like a journey deep into the heart of darkness, let CSI shine some light into your life. Meet with us before the doors open for the Product Show and bring your questions, comments, criticisms, and complaints about the most important part of the documents.
- April 17 ***BONUS SESSION*** "You're the Jury: Student Projects 2026" It's your chance to be the jury as architecture students present projects from their "Professional Practice" class at the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts. Your reviews will determine the top three projects that will receive cash awards from our chapter's "CSI Student Development Grant." This will be held on campus at Washington University.
- MAY 13: "Update on the MO SAVE Coalition" The Missouri SAVE Coalition is a group of volunteer engineers, architects, building inspectors and other trained volunteers who move quickly after a disaster to determine which buildings are safe to use and which should be evacuated. Learn about their valuable work, including during last year's St. Louis tornado.
- MAY 19: ***BONUS SESSION*** "Specifying for Sustainability" We're combining with the Missouri Gateway Green Building Council to sponsor a presentation by Ron Geren FCSI, AIA, CCS.CCCA, SCIP. Ron is an architect, specifier, and code consultant based in Phoenix Arizona. He'll share his experiences specifying for sustainability with a panel of experts. More information from CSI and MGGBC coming soon.
