 What’s the construction outlook for the St. Louis region during 2018? This program begins with an analysis of local construction and infrastructure projects and trends. A discussion of major economic, legislative, and regulatory issues follows, including statewide, regional, and national influences.  Finally, the forecast for Missouri is compared and contrasted with other parts of the country. By better anticipating how the industry will perform, attendees may position their businesses for future success. 1.5 units AIA-CES (LU)

Speaker: MR. LEONARD TOENJES, CAE

 

Leonard Toenjes is President of AGC of Missouri. He a trustee on the AGC of America Education and Research Foundation, Vice Chair of the Missouri Workforce Development Board, Member of the State Board of Mediation, Chairman of St. Louis Metropolitan Sewer District Rate Commission, Vice Chairman of the St. Louis Agency on Training and Employment, and Board Member of Citizens for Modern Transit and the Mercury Alliance. He is a Certified Association Executive by the American Society of Association Executives. 

Mr. Toenjes has also served on AGC of America’s Executive Committee, as Chairman of the Executive Leadership Council of AGC, and the Executive Committee of the American Road and Transportation Builders Association. Past statewide appointments include chairperson of the Missouri State Council on Vocational Education, a member of Missouri’s School to Work Transition Committee, and the Disparity Study Oversight Review Committee. Past local appointments include serving as a school board member for the St. Louis Career Education District, a member of the Mayor’s Charter School Advisory Board.

He has authored 6 construction related textbooks currently published by American Technical Publishers.
